Karen Paris is a photographic & video installation artist and curator based in Adelaide, South Australia.

In 2008 Karen achieved First Class Honours, graduating from the South Australian School of Art, University of South Australia with a BA Visual Arts (Hons) and was awarded Art World Magazine - best graduating student in Australia and New Zealand 2008.

Karen's work is primarily concerned with moments in time and the space they inhabit. Her work expresses these moments and their loss through a study of objects and remembered images translated into a visual story.

The subject matter varies between close up still images of bubbles, which combine striking colours and languishing liquidity, and sentimental objects and the elements of nature.
